I just love Christmas and have had a lot of fun creating father Christmases with a little difference.
This nod to a Scandie father Christmas is made to sit on a shelf. Perhaps on a mantle over a cosy fireplace.
This original piece is made from unbleached cotton stained and hand painted. His silvery white hair is made from white wensleydale sheep. He has needle sculpured face. He wears a deep red velveteen jacket, ginger brown check trousers. He has a deep caramel fur jacket trim and boots. Santa is holding a little wooden music box which when turned plays, we wish you a merry Christmas. His velvet with leather strapped bag is full of gifts, of a handmade doll and pull me elephant on wheels, and wrapped parcel. As well as a handpainted sleigh.
A lovely heirloom to bring out each year or a perfect gift for someone who loves Christmas.
This piece will be lovingly wrapped and sent 24 tracked.
