Full description
A charming textile art piece vintage style ice skate, lovingly created with a timeworn look. This piece is hand and machine stitiched in unbleached cotton. hand painted and stained. carrying a nostalgic feel of winter days gone by. Its forest green satin laces are tied in a bow and held in place by rusty pins. In the open top peeps out tiny gifts, pine cone, acorn and little wooden toadstool. as if waiting to be discovered. Hanging from its rusted blade are little skates, rusted heart, bells and star.
The whole piece is made to evoke the warmth of handmade tradition, blending whimsy and memory in a keepsake that celebrates both the joy and delight of the festive season.
This piece will be lovingly wrapped and sent via Royal mail tracked.
