Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Make your own roman blind sample, and learn how to calculate fabric quantities and determine your pleat spacing.
Suitable for those with a little sewing experience (can use a sewing machine), this short course in my Low Valleyfield workshop will show you all the steps to make your own beautiful, custom roman blinds.
All materials and equipment are provided within your class cost, although if you prefer to use your own sewing machine, you are more than welcome to bring it.
During the class I will cover:
- selecting appropriate fabric for roman blinds
- how to select your headrail style, and the safety implications of each type
- measuring your window and determining blind position
- calculating fabric requirement for plain and patterned fabrics
- understanding pattern repeats and matching a repeating pattern for large blinds
- cutting fabric and lining to the appropriate sizes for your finished blind
- sewing rod pockets to your lining fabric
- cutting fibreglass rods to length safely
- professional tips and tricks
The price includes the face fabric, lining fabric and header rail pack and rod kit.
You will leave the class with your own roman blind sample and a handout that you can refer to as you make your own machine sewn blinds at home.
