Class is held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, Fife. Each session is 3 hours long. Registration closes 10th January 2025. Classes cancelled due to weather and travel restrictions will be rescheduled.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

13 January -17 February 2025 (Registration closes 10th Jan)
Monday morning beginners classes, 10am - 1pm
Held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, Fife, this class is aimed at complete beginners and those who haven't used a sewing machine in a very long time. You'll be guided through different projects, with each one developing your sewing skills and leaving you confident and ready to sew independently.
Materials for the first 3 weeks are included in your cost. You will be given a list of supplies required for the final projects, along with a list of suggested suppliers, at the time of booking. You are asked to bring a basic sewing kit to all classes - fabric scissors, pins and a measuring tape, etc.
Studio sewing machines are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine.
We will make a shopping bag, a neckwarmer with button fastening a zipped pencil case, a pair of pyjama trousers (free multisized pattern download). Your final project will be your own choice.
I keep class sizes small to ensure everyone gets a fair share of my attention, and you have ample space to work. Solo and group bookings are welcome.
Groups of 4 may request a different date and time to suit their needs if this scheduled class is not convenient. Please contact me. All 4 spaces must be purchased with private classes, and no refunds are offered. Evenings and weekend classes can be accommodated if my diary allows.
