Full description
A handmade chunky oak pendant inlaid with blue pencils and blue and white pipe, finished with a hard wax satin polish. The pendant is round and tapering towards the edges. The outer edges are rounded giving it a smooth feel.
SIZE: The round pendant is approximately 5cm diameter and 1.4cm thick in the centre tapering towards the edge.
The necklace is adjustable from around 30 - 80 cm using simple sterling silver crimp ends (the equivalent of sliding knots).
WOOD SOURCE : This oak is from a flooring sample. The pencils come from Freecycle (I picked out the round ones and gave the rest to a school). The pipe is plastic water pipe which I like as it has a blue stripe in the middle. It was left over from when the bathroom was done.
SHIPPING : FREE Royal Mail “Signed For” 1st Class. Signature required upon delivery.
PACKAGING : Presented in a Progress Crafts branded gift box made from unbleached and undyed recycled card (called hairy manilla which makes me chuckle). Posted in unbleached and undyed recycled card packaging or re-used packaging. All packaging is kept as minimal and as natural as possible.
MATERIALS : The pendant is oak. The pencils are ... pencils. The centre inlay is plastic water pipe. The necklace is waxed black cotton. All the findings are Sterling Silver 925 : dropper peg, jump ring and crimp ends.
