Item details

This piece of yew was a cast off from a yew tree trimmed back in nearby parkland. Whilst most of the logs were purposefully stacked, this little end piece offcut was cast aside in the hedgerow. However it was destined for greater things. Yew is such a beautiful yet hard wood, and lends itself well to a show piece that can also be functional.

This beautiful little bowl would find numerous uses around the home as a place to keep earrings, keys, spare change etc, as a vessel for pot pourri, or as a decorative piece in its own right.
