A hand stamped vintage dessertspoon handstamped with the words YES. I GAVE YOU AN OLD SPOON FOR XMAS. DEAL WITH IT. It's a serviceable but somewhat tarnished spoon with a classic 'fiddle pattern' handle, measuring approximately 17.5cm long. A great joke present for winding up an entitled teenager or getting back at someone who always says their presents are rubbish! (Whether or not you then give them anything else is up to you!)
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic and waterbased acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage metal alloy spoon (in fact it's likely antique, it was made by J Dixon and Sons in Sheffield in the 19th century) so it has scratches, dings, tarnish and wear marks in accordance with its age. There is also a stamping error in the 'W' so it's in the bargain bin. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. But then that is kind of the point...
