☆ all the seaglass and pebbles you see in my work has been used as found. Decades of rolling about in the sea has worked its beautiful magic.
☆ your item will be posted using recycled packaging, which isn't incredibly attractive, but it serves its purpose. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts. : )
I wanted to make something natural and earthy, using pebbles and seaglass I found in Durham. The chain lends a slightly modern and industrial feel, contrasting the cotton cord and pebble beads, but looking great in combination.

Pebble and cord necklace, with subtle green seaglass accents, all hanging from an adjustable stainless steel flat-link curb chain.
17 tiny pebbles and 2 nuggets of soft green seaglass have been hand-drilled to create beads, which I’ve threaded onto ecru (posh word for beige) cotton cord, and held in place at one inch intervals by knots. The corded, beaded section is approximately 11 inches long, and is attached to the stainless steel chain.
Stainless steel is hypoallergenic which offers peace of mind for those who suffer from contact dermatitis.
In total, this necklace measures 23 inches long, and is adjustable up to 25 inches, with a stainless steel lobster clasp closure and a tiny seaglass bead at the end.
It will be carefully packaged in a recycled cardboard jewellery box and sent second class via Royal Mail.
