This beautiful vintage red embroidery flower brooch was influenced by l summer days in my garden
It’s constructed using a vintage quilt on top of which various cotton fabrics have been collaged onto the surface.
The red embroidered flower came from a piece of vintage linen and is collaged onto the other fabrics to give a pleasing design.
The brooch pin has been handstitched to the back of the brooch.
The brooch will come attached to a coordinating section of a postcard of Claude Monet’s The Luncheon
The brooch measures approx 5cm by 6.5cm.
It would be fab on a coat or jacket lapel or pinned on a favourite bag
