These are part of a new series of mugs with a slight angular shape which I find pleasing and hope others do to. Choosing the glaze colour is always hit and miss and experimentation with glazes often end in a pot that is unusable or just plain ugly. I am very pleased at how this glaze combination has worked from the translucent and transparent glaze inside and blue, brown, purple outside.

A coffee, tea or hot chocolate mug. Hand thrown stoneware on my potters wheel and glazed In a purple/blue outside and white/translucent inside.

A sunny day in September sitting at the wheel in my studio making mugs that I am proud of and people can use forever. With my dog Eric watching on, a perfect relaxing time.
