Thanks for visiting our shop. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

One of my favourite programmes on t.v. Is The Sewing Bee. I have learnt so much by watching the various successes and failures. I began to develop “pattern weight envy” as so many of the contestants had beautiful sets of weights. Then my lovely daughter made me a set for my birthday.
My theory is that if I love these there is a high chance that other people who sew will also love them.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

If you’re a crafter, you’ll enjoy not only your craft, but also surrounding yourself with lovely tools and equipment that you enjoy using. These lovely chicken pattern weights are a pleasure to use. We sell them in sets of eight - a great gift for a dressmaker. Weights can be used to hold patterns still, instead of pinning. They also look very cute just sitting on a shelf and will keep you company while you sew. Sets are made from a mixture of fabrics, following a colour scheme - choose your favourite colour and you will receive a unique product. They are filled with rice and each weight weighs about 75g. As I use up small pieces of fabric left over from other projects, your product may not be exactly the same as the ones in the photographs.
Under separate listings you will see that I also make 'plain' weights without the chicken decoration - just the same item but a little more serious.
Postage costs are higher for this item - the clue is in the name! They’re weighty! We will send your order using the standard 2 to 4 day delivery offered by Evri, unless you select a faster service through the options. Orders will generally be packaged in recycled materials. We can pack further items with your order at no additional postage cost.
