The heat was suffocating as I trudged toward Cala Barraca Beach. Sweat clung to my skin like a second layer, the salty air thick with the scent of seaweed. My goal? To capture this beach as no one ever had. The sun had just begun to rise, painting the horizon in soft pinks and golds. As I framed the shot, I heard footsteps—a police patrol. My heart raced; Covid restrictions were tight, and this could ruin everything. But they passed by without a word. With trembling hands, I clicked the shutter, just in time. The photo was perfect. A dream realized, celebrated by my family and Javea followers alike.
