"This Standing Dachshund sculpture was inspired by Maddie, who passed away in 2020 at the remarkable age of 19. A few years later, her family commissioned this piece in her memory. Photos of Maddie depict a joyful dog, content at home, basking in love and comfort. It was a privilege to create this sculpture, knowing how much Maddie meant to her family. I hope I’ve captured some of her personality in this memorial statue."
