Mae was a joyful soul, who passed away not long after she was commissioned. I hope I’ve captured a little piece of her lively companionship for her family to remember her by.”

Tanya Russell is a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and her sculptures are hand cast by a British foundry. Her Foundry Bronze metal Dachshund Puppy statue will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and cleaning kit. This casting is a perfect recreation of the original bronze statue and bears the artist’s signature and its own unique edition number.
How its made: Bronze metal powder is mixed with a resin to make the Bronze Resin material, which has the appearance of Foundry Bronze metal. This process creates a material that is more affordable and lightweight.
