My love of the simple poppy flower was the inspiration for this card.

Full description
A beautifully tranquil and calming sympathy card that has been individually sketched and watercoloured. This one-of-a-kind card measures 12.5 x 17.5 cms and features the blue himalayan poppy. The embossed sentiment reads, sending peace and comfort. It is blank inside, for writing your own message.
Poppies mean different things in various cultures, I chose the blue poppy for its calming and peaceful properties. I sketched and painted it with watercolours. The sentiment on the front has been pressed into the paper with a small metal press plate and archival ink in brown. The design has a faux torn edge and the cardbase is made from 300gsm white hammered cardstock. Tiny details have been added with a white gel pen and pale blue archival ink. There are tiny faux water droplets on the leaves.
Supplied with a 100% recycled brown kraft paper envelope and posted via Royal Mail. The card will be inside a clear protective card wrapper and mailed in a recyclable brown board-backed envelope.
Please keep plastic card wrappers out of reach of young children.
