A fun dragon themed felt bookmark - will you choose one with brave knights or a soaring castle? Ideal for a young reader - maybe paired with a book for a great birthday gift? They also make a special momento of starting school.
Soft, pliable and strong - these bookmarks won't be damaged by bending, and the fuzzy wool backing means they will stay in place in the book.
The fabric for these bookmarks is a fantastic dragon and knight village scene, which I carefully cut to include a dragon and a knight or castle. However as I am trying to use every piece of fabric, they may be different colours or in different positions to those shown in the photos.
The fabric panel is fused to a soft grey pure wool felt backing, and securely machine sewed all the way round with a decorative buttonhole stitch in a contrasting thread.
NOTE
Part of my zero-waste sustainable approach to crafting, these bookmarks are made using fabric pieces left over from making my larger gifts.
