Full description
This little otter figurine would make a great unusual gift for an animal lover, or would love to keep you company on your desk. He would look equally at home on your bookshelf or bedside table, or with pride of place on a mantelpiece.
He has been made by carefully sculpting wool over a wire armature. His eyes are made from beads, sewn in securely, and his whiskers are made from horse hair.
He measures approximately 17 cm (6.5 inches) from his nose to the base of his tail.
All of the wool in my sculptures has been obtained from ethical sources. I like to support small business and local farmers and shepherds where I can.
PLEASE NOTE that, as with all of my sculptures, this figurine is intended as a decoration only and is not a toy. Due to small parts, and the wire frame, it should be kept out of reach of children and animals. It is fairly fragile but if it is handled with care, it should last a long time.
