This stylised rabbit figurine would make a great gift for a rabbit lover, or as part of a collection.
She is soft and can therefore be posed into different positions, but the one she was made for is the cute lying-down-with-legs-stuck-out-behind position that will be familiar to anyone who has kept rabbits.
She has been created over a soft wire armature, with natural wool, including fluff from my own pet Swiss Fox rabbit. The Swiss Fox has Angora in its ancestry and I have used her fur (gathered during grooming) in spinning and felting on occasion.
She measures approximately 15 cm (6 inches) in length when lying down.
I ensure that all of my wool is purchased from ethical sources.
As with all of my figurines, this one is intended for decorative purposes only. Due to small parts, eyes and wires she should be kept out of reach of children and pets..
