Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. A little Fairy Queen with mad hair and a medieval style outfit, detailed with crystal and glass beads with silk ribbon. I was thinking of the Duchess Gertrude Groan from Gormengast by Mervin Peake. New for this summer, I am enjoying making them xx

Full description
This is Maud, a meadow Fairy Queen. A smaller pattern, she is about two thirds the size of my witch. This little Fairy Queen has an Acufactum print dress called Meadow Queen with a deep peacock ground.. The fabric has fae meandering among meadow flowers.. She has wings that team her underskirt and sports a little felt wand. Her shoes are the smallest I have ever made and are leather. She has a piece of Moss Agate to her heart with rosemary in her stuffing and is finished with tiny buttons, silk ribbon and a little coronet in her hair. Her hair is hand styled into gothic proportions with glass and crystal bead details and a head piece to add to the medieval feel.
She has a brass ring to her back to hang
She stands just 8 inches tall with all the hair!.
She is, as are all my girls, warm and companiable with a touch of English whimsy. I hope she makes you smile.
