The oyster shells in this piece were collected during one of my regular swims with a lovely cold water swimming group. The local area once had a thriving Oyster fishery, long since lost to the mists of time. But the Oyster beds remain, and the shells have a lovely textural design and pearlescent patterns which are super to work with.

Full description
Oyster shells from Port Eynon Bay, Gower are arranged to create a lovely heart shape. I collected the shells myself whilst cold water swimming, and the shells are completely as found on the beach.
Frame size 10x10 inch (25.4x25.4cm). White frame with black mount.
Items are sent via Royal Mail 1st class.
