Mussel shells are so diverse and beautiful, I love the colours and textures. This piece combines an array of mussel shells into a striking circular design, also incorporating tiny whelk shells. The piece is a lovely reminder of a day spent collecting shells in the shadow of Worm’s head, Gower.

Full description
Mussel and whelk shells are combined in a stunning circular design. Mussel shells were collected by the artist on Rhossilli Bay, and Whelk shells on Langland Bay, Gower. The shells are as collected from the sea with only varnish added to bring out the natural colours.
Frame size 10x10 inch (25.4x25.4 cm). Black frame.
