My love for trees came from living in the countryside, where I grew bonsais and Japanese maples. Recently, I moved back to London and missed the feeling of being surrounded by nature. I gave my bonsais and Japanese maples away to friends and family, but unfortunately, they were too difficult to take care of and withered. This gave me the inspiration to craft my own renditions of trees that will last forever and bring the peacefulness of nature into your homes. However, this particular piece was made upon my return from a short stay in Cornwall. The private gardens by the seashore had tall Palm trees swaying in the sea breeze. The large glass beads (Coconuts) are a fun addition to the piece and give it a feel of a desolate island. The stone is quite heavy and could be used as a paperweight.

Full description
This rendition of a Palm tree is made from 0.8mm Silver Aluminium and Copper wire and mounted into a Cornish rock. The coconuts are composed of glass. The Copper palms shine both in sunlight and artificial light. The rock has been glazed to show its natural colour, as this enhances its beauty as seen on the shore when the waves ebb and flow over the grey stones.
