A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(80) I've called this original artwork, 'Let's Find Our Feet Here.' The sight of crofts in the distance and wildflowers growing on a bright day hint that there is a welcome to be found in this place. This artwork will make a lovely gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is a mounted, acrylic painting of a rugged landscape in Scotland. The scene is framed by some tall, red poppies in the foreground. The sky is a deep blue with a few clouds forming above the hills. In the distance there are two small crofts nestled close to each other. I have used thick layers of acrylic paint and scratched into the surface with a mixture of pastels, pencils and marking tools.
This square mounted landscape will look great in a frame of your choosing, either displayed on any flat surface or on the wall.
