A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(96) This small artwork is called, 'Stay Still So I Can See You.' I often say this to myself when I see butterflies as they always seem to be on the move. This will make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is a small original painting. The sky is a deep blue and most of the canvas is full of wildflowers and grasses. Tucked in amongst the flowers rests a butterfly that has stopped to check out if there is food available. The artwork has been completed in professional quality acrylics. I have used a range of painting knives, twigs and brushes to apply the acrylic paint across the canvas panel.
This painting would look great on a shelf or side table, resting on its own easel.
