Full description

Sheep grazing by the river. This original textile art picture has been needle felted using strips of silk fabric and woollen fibres needle felted onto a felt base. The needle felting process binds the fabric and fibres together eliminating the need for any stitching. Once the background has been created, the trees and sheep have been added. The birds in the sky have been stitched on using black thread.

An 8" x 6" double card mount in white and black and a simple black frame have been used to present the artwork. The reverse of the frame has both a hanging loop and a prop stand allowing it to be hung on the wall or stood on a shelf.

Please note: the picture is glazed but the glass has been removed for the photos to avoid unwanted reflections.
