Full description
A sweet little tortoise needle felted from woollen fibres. The main body of this tortoise has been needle felted from brown woollen fibres. The legs, neck and head have been formed over a wire core to add strength and. stability. The shell has been made from a darker brown felt with markings added. The tortoise has beaded eyes. He is mounted on an oval wooden slice covered in artificial grass fabric. Two green plants formed from handmade felt have been added along with a leaf in the tortoises mouth.
The tortoise measures approximately 11cm (4.5") long, and the wooden base is 15cm long x 9cm wide.
Whilst this tortoise model is fairly robust, he will not withstand constant handling or rough treatment and is not suitable as a toy.
