Full description
I love sea glass style beads; these stylish handmade green beads seem to glow from within their velvety centres. The beads I have created are moulded into graduated disc shapes whilst the glass is molten. Once cooled and cleaned, they were chemically etched to give a sea glass effect, some areas on the bead have been left un-etched resulting in a more organic design, nothing is perfect or uniform in my glassy world!
The beads are 10 x 5mm to 16 x 7mm in diameter and width approximately, and have been spaced with haematite semi precious stones and silver lined crystal beads.
The necklace is approximately 19" in length with a silver plated chain and flowery circular toggle and bar clasp.
All my lampwork beads are digitally kiln annealed after shaping in the flame to give greater resilience and durability and once cooled I clean out the clay mandrel release thoroughly by hand reaming before I use them in my designs. The photos show the colour of the beads as accurately as possible, however, there could be slight variations in shade depending on your monitor. Remember that these are individually handcrafted so may have small imperfections or variations between each one, which makes each of my beads beautifully unique!
I post out well bubble wrapped and in a black satin gift bag.
