Lino printmaking is a completely hand made process, giving the final artwork a character and authenticity completely unlike a digital reproduction. From hand carving the relief printing block, to the hand burnishing of the final print, it’s quite a special moment to pull back the paper of that first print. All artwork is produced in it’s original medium, signed by the artist and will feature variations and signs of the nature of this process.

After working on a community project to benefit pollinators and wildlife, this little frog sprung to life. Inspired by urban neighbourhoods and those pockets of green space that can be so valuable both to our native wildlife and the humans who live alongside them, as well as the transformation that takes place of an unloved spot of land to a vibrant, colourful space bursting with life. This piece invites us to consider themes of home, habitat and our relationship with the world around us.
