Full description
Pottery house flower vase with blue bird and hand painted climbers around the door.
I threw this little house by hand on my potter's wheel then altered it to form the house shape, windows, and doors. The tiny bird was hand modelled and perches over the attic window. Once dry it was bisque fired and hand painted including a little face and cat before glaze application and the final firing.
House height 9.5 cm
House width 6.5 cm
This little vase looks very effective with a huge bloom and can also be used as a reed diffuser. It would make a lovely housewarming gift. Each has a handmade quality and character of their own. Whether teamed with a little ceramic tree or sitting alone.
Best to hand wash.
