Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with fabric, paints, embroidery, beads and collage. I particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Full description
This colourful fabric picture of a bird in an Autumn garden would make a lovely handmade Christmas gift.
The design has been printed onto cotton fabric and then given a light wash with layers of peach and ochre paints and inks to create an Autumnal background. I've used some metallic copper paint around the edges to create a bit of sparkle.
I've added embroidery to the tiny flowers on the bird's chest and embellished the larger flowers with embroidery threads and seed beads.
The picture comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurement is 8 inches square and visible area is just under 5.5 inches square.
The artwork will be sent Royal Mail, second class large letter.
