Full description
This miniature poppy picture has been made using silk and wool and a needle felting technique.. Strips of silk have been needle felted to a white cotton paper and woollen fibres have been added to blend the background and create the poppies. The cotton paper background has roughly torn edges and the picture is mounted on a linen background. It has been mounted in an 8" x 6" black card mount.
The needle felted portion of the miniature picture measures approx 6cm x 4cm with the cotton paper measuring approx 8cm x 6cm. The mount measures 20cm x 15cm.
