I have been working on some more functional pieces for my embroidery ‘useful art’. This hexagonal box just spoke bees and honey comb.

Lovely bee motif hexagonal dish for trinkets, pins, buttons and much more.
The dish has a cardboard core and is covered with a hand embroidered bee and honeycomb motif and hand embroidered text ‘We must all love the bees’.
The sides and base are hand painted with acrylic paint.
