Full description
This flower girl doll is called Esja and she certainly likes flowers. She has decorated the hem of her dress with them, also her shoes and has entwined them through her top knot, which you can rearrange if you wish. She has even added sparkle with beads and gold thread to each flower. She is dressed in a non-removable, green dress decorated with the flowers and cream lacy frills at the hem. She has removable shoes, a sleeveless jacket and matching handbag.
I crocheted her in Schachenmayr Catania cotton from an Amigurumi pattern by CAROcreated, available on Ravelry.
She comes complete with a metal stand as shown in the main picture and therefore measures 16” tall, ready to be put on display as an example of a truly hand-crafted doll which has taken many hours to complete.
There is a mountain range called Esja in Norway and in Finnish it means Best Friend
