Full description

This short eared owl bookmark would be an ideal gift for a nature lover. All my bookmarks are unique because I sketch the design straight onto the wood, and then burn the design by hand using a pyrography tool. These are handmade collectable art, not laser engraved.

The bookmark is of 1.5 mm thick plywood, and is approximately 12cm x 3.2cm. It is finished with satin artists varnish to protect it, and has a silky golden tassel. I try to keep packaging to a minimum with my products so the bookmark is presented on a die cut kraft card tag, cut and stamped by myself in my home studio.

Wood is a natural item so there will be imperfections. Pyrography can fade in direct sunlight, and is best kept away from extremes of temperature and humidity.

Colours can appear differently on different monitors and devices.
