Large and roomy and upcycled. With it's bold, teal leather star motif and upcycled brown denim, this shoulder bag makes a real statement.
It's been designed and handmade by recycling brown denim jeans and using leather off-cuts and lined with a teal, heavyweight slubbed silk remnant (see note below). It’s slouchy and generous - perfect for all your everyday essentials and more!
The shoulder strap has been made from a section of jeans waistband and is approx 4.5cm wide and sits comfortably on the shoulder.
The front of the bag has an appliqued dark teal leather star motif. Inside, there's a slip pocket divided for phone, pens etc, and a further slip pocket with a plastic snap closure for added security. For those of us who lose our keys in the bottom of our bag, there's a silver coloured swivel lobster clasp secured to the inside of the bag with a brown ribbon. A silver tone magnetic closure secures the opening of the bag.
The bag is slouchy and light to wear but has been carefully constructed to be sturdy enough for everyday use and would pack flat for travelling.
Measurements (approx): depth at centre 33cm, width at widest point 38cm, shoulder drop 38cm
Base: 11cm x 32.5cm
Spot clean and wipe dry leather if wet.
NB. the lining was a remnant so I flame tested the fabric and to the best of my judgement, it's silk, although it may also contain another natural fibre.
