I'm Alison and I've been sewing and making for as long as I can remember. I made my first dress at the age of six and remember being very pleased when I wore it to school!
(Some time later!!) 2014, I made my first bag from a piece of oilcloth left over from another project....a simple design, but my friends loved that it wasn't mass produced and asked me to make some for them.
Fast forward to now, and my designs have developed, but I still love the challenge of working with oilcloth, repurposed denim, upholstery textiles and waxed cottons. Ultimately owning a bag which is truly unique and individual. For me, finding gorgeous fabrics and beautiful linings is one of life's pleasures and turning them into something unique is a joy. Attention to detail and the finish of my bags hopefully makes them stand out as unique.
