Agate is a form of Chalcedony, part of the Quartz family, and gets its name from the River Achates, in Sicily, where it was first found.
It is one of the oldest known minerals, used by the ancient Sumerians and Egyptians for ornaments and amulets.
I love the banded patterns in these beads.
Each one has a different colouration and design, making this bracelet truly unique.
Agate is the ancient birthstone for June and Gemini.

Full description
A centrepiece of five 6mm brown Banded Agate beads flanked by a trio of Austrian crystal bicones and tiny 2mm sterling silver spacers.
The Agate beads are a mix of brown shades, with cream and white, with typical concentric rings.
The crystals are in the colour 'jet' and graduate from 5mm to 4mm and 3mm in size.
The remainder of the circle consists of 4mm brown Agate dotted with 4mm frosted black Onyx.
This dainty bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches (17cm).
Your bracelet will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within the UK.
