Full description
One to one lesson using either your own sewing machine, or one of my studio machines.
This 3 hour intensive session will focus on the technical aspects of using your sewing machine. Threading, winding a bobbin, changing needles, understanding different needle types, learning how to adjust your tension and many more techniques are covered.
We'll do some sewing exercises, mastering straight and curved seams, practice accurate stitching, turning corners precisely and then use those new skills to make a small drawstring bag for you to take away with you.
Dates and times will be by mutual agreement, and confirmed after purchase.
Evenings and weekends can be catered for, depending on prior bookings, as well as daytime sessions.
My aim with this class is for you to leave with confidence in your own abilities, a sewing machine that no longer intimidates you, and able to explore actual creating with it.
Classes held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, near Culross, in Fife, Scotland.
