Hi, welcome to Stitched Works, where everything is designed and hand made made by myself.
(Except for the buttons)
I strive to create high quality pieces
using repurposed and vintage fabrics.
My inspiration usually comes from a place, where I’ve felt an emotional connection. I think of my art as capturing a sense of time and place, a small moment in time.
The cords and fastenings used for the pendants and brooches are new.
I will usually post items 2nd class, with Royal Mail, within 24 hours of receiving an order. I recycle packaging when possible.
Please message me via the contact form if you would like any further information. Or would like alternative shipping arrangements.
Thank you so much for visiting.
My embroidery has evolved over many years. I wanted to start using it for wearables as well as Wall art. The brooches have come about through my love of landscape and nature and wanting to work small.

Full description
My stitching is rather organic, it evolves as I work. This means that each item is completely unique.
Be proud of your personality, dare to be different by wearing something that is totally original.
Pin onto a lapel, hat, scarf or shawl to add a little bit of uniqueness to your style.
It’s quite heavy so not suitable for lightweight clothing.
This circular hand embroidered brooch pin, was influenced by the paintings of Van Gogh, I love how he mark makes. The stitched fabric is stretched around a metal disc insuring it keeps its shape and a sturdy pin is sewn onto the backing fabric.
2inches diameter
An easy to post gift
