I strive to create high quality pieces
using repurposed and vintage fabrics.
My inspiration usually comes from a place, where I’ve felt an emotional connection. I think of my art as capturing a sense of time and place, a small moment in time.
The cords and fastenings used for the pendants and brooches are new.
I will usually post items 2nd class, with Royal Mail, within 24 hours of receiving an order. I recycle packaging when possible.

My stitching has developed over many years. These brooches came about as I wanted to make something wearable. Something that could stay with you all day. I was also challenging myself to work small.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A hand embroidered brooch depicting a mini landscape of a church against mountains at sunset. Making this was a really peaceful relaxing process taking several hours. It’s almost like a meditation.
An accessory, for your hat, jacket or coat lapel, scarf or shawl. Make a statement about what is important to you.
The brooch is quite heavy so not suitable for lightweight clothing.
The embroidered fabric is stretched over a metal disc insuring it always retains its shape. A sturdy metal pin sewn onto the backing fabric keeps it in place.
