I strive to create high quality pieces
using repurposed and vintage fabrics.
My inspiration usually comes from a place, where I’ve felt an emotional connection. I think of my art as capturing a sense of time and place, a small moment in time.
The cords and fastenings used for the pendants and brooches are new.
I will usually post items 2nd class, with Royal Mail, within 24 hours of receiving an order. I recycle packaging when possible.

I just love Vincent Van Gogh’s work, I wanted to see how his way of mark making translated into embroidery stitches. I think it works pretty well!

Full description
This circular brooch is completely hand embroidered onto cotton fabric which has been stretched around a metal disc, insuring that it always keeps its shape. A sturdy pin fastening sewn onto the backing fabric holds it in place.
The lively design is influenced by Vincent Van Gogh’s swirling skies.
Pin it on a lapel or hat or wear it on a scarf or shawl and this eye catching accessory will add joy to your day.
It’s quite heavy so not suitable for lightweight clothing.
