Coastal erosion along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset is a continuing theme in my work. Many people are aware of the dramatic footage shown on the news of the tumbling cliff falls after storms but may not notice the slow and subtle every day wearing of the beach by the prevailing winds and gentle tides.

Full description
An original mixed media collage artwork of pebbles on the shore. Depicting the slow erosion of wind and water on the Jurassic coast. This piece shows a hag stone or holey stone amongst the pebbles. Light glints off the sea and the wind creates ripples on the tide. This piece is made in tones of cream, green and soft grey blue.
The piece measures 21x14.5cm (8.25x5.75inch) approximately and comes in a cellophane sleeve for protection. It will be posted nestle in between layers of cardboard.
Whilst every care is taken in photographing the artwork please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings.
The materials used in the piece are artist’s quality to ensure longevity but as with all original artwork it is best hung out of direct sunlight.
