Hello and welcome to Fififoxi's shop. Here you'll find original art, unique gifts and pretty cards for every occasion such as summer weddings, birthdays and special anniversaries. You can be sure we send out items promptly, usually within a day of receiving your order - however because of new packing regulations WE CAN NO LONGER DELIVER TO SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES - they include Germany, Austria, France, Luxemburg, Lithuania, Poland, Greece and Spain. Any order that inadvertently requests delivery to affected countries will be cancelled and refunded. We are very sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
Parrots and colourful birds have often featured in classical still life paintings. I enjoyed highlighting the contrast of the green bird against the oranges with the blue mountains in the background.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This tiny miniature painting (only the size of a large postage stamp) shows a still life with a bright green parrot bird perched on a branch that hangs over a bowl of oranges on a table. Far away distant mountains shimmer under a clouded blue sky. It is an original watercolour painted by me.

Measuring 4 cm x 2.7 cm (6 cm x 4.5 cm inc. frame). It is tiny 'Dolls House' 1:12th scale.
Supplied in a handmade distressed frame with a light bronzed gold finish to suggest an aged appearance.
The title, materials used, signature and date are on the back of the painting with my artists mark W A.
All my work is made using the finest materials - usually Winsor and Newton artists watercolour on 300 gm paper).
Viewing onscreen may slightly distort the original colour values.
UK items are sent in protected packaging - Royal Mail 'signed for'
International deliveries are sent Royal Mail 'International tracked and signed. THE LENGTH OF INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES WILL VARY COUNTRY TO COUNTRY and may take some time due to local regulations and Customs restrictions.
We recommend that all items are kept out of direct sunlight or very bright light to avoid fading.
