You can be sure we send out items promptly, usually within a day of receiving your order - however because of new packing regulations WE CAN NO LONGER DELIVER TO SOME EUROPEAN COUNTRIES - they include Germany, Austria, France, Luxemburg, Lithuania, Poland, Greece and Spain. Any order that inadvertently requests delivery to affected countries will be cancelled and refunded. We are very sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
Avebury standing stones may seem an odd subject for a miniature painting but antiquarian sites have always attracted artists - that's not surprising as standing stones are often set in beautiful landscapes and the subject is very versatile. Old masters in particular spent a great deal of time trying to catch the strange and elusive atmosphere of these ancient monuments and I like to think I am carrying on that tradition. I take great care in choosing a frame that will enhance the painting and often refurbish frames to compliment a certain painting.
Avebury standing stones association with ancient myths and legends will appeal to both historians and anyone interested in magic and religion - it's also a suitably otherworldly subject for Halloween.
I like to have little paintings for sale because they are a great way to own original art at affordable prices and they make lovely everlasting gifts for any occasion.

This tiny signed print of Avebury standing stones is presented in a white box frame and signed & dated by me. The colourful print is taken from my original larger painting and is augmented by extra hand drawn ink detail, making each one an attractive and unique 'one off'. The majestic standing stones of Avebury hold a special place in Britain's history - the print will appeal to anyone who loves our ancient past and to those interested in myth and pagan magic - it makes a lovely gift.
Measuring 11.5 x 11.5 cm. in total (inner dimension 7.5 x 7.5 cm. x 3 cm depth) the little box frame is carefully chosen to enhance the painting and lend it a 3D quality.
