Are you a bird lover? I am too! There is nothing like watching them hopping along the decking and flitting in and out of the gaps in the eaves of the shed roof.
I'm a flower lover too and enjoy gardening. I probably got much of this enjoyment from my dad who had a spectacularly long garden that he filled with flowers & vegetables, & he always loved and pointed out to me the little creature visitors to the wildlife haven he created. Like father, like daughter, I thoroughly enjoy watching the birds come to my home-made bird bath, and in season, enjoy any hugely tall sunflowers I've grown. Sunflowers are such a happy thing and the perfect welcome to any visitor, whether human or feathered!

What a joyful welcome to your garden & home in this cheerful & beautiful slate painting of a pretty bluetit alighting on sunflowers! Underneath them are more sunflowers getting ready to open up to the sun.
I love pretty things, wildlife flowers and gardening & they all come together in this hand-painted slate. Meticulously & lovingly painted on carefully prepared Welsh slate, completed with a wire-enforced hemp rope (fitted but not currently shown in these photos) for hanging, you will love this unique creative gem for yourself or as a gift for a friend or loved one. An original design, it's signed & the only one like it in the world.
I carefully clean, sand & prepare all surfaces and edges of the original slate roof tiles to ensure they are safe & smooth with no sharp edges. After painting, they receive several coats of a UV varnish for all-over protection. The process is completed by adding the hemp rope (fitted but not shown in these photos) to make hanging convenient & attractive indoors or outdoors.
