My Single Wire Leaf is an original handmade mixed media artwork. The leaf is sculptured from copper wire with gold & silver coloured wire wrapped around for extra decoration & shine. For the wording just behind the wire leaf I’ve typed the word leaf, repeating it by using all the different computer fonts beginning with L, just to add a different visual dimension. I’ve used white tissue paper with leaf flecks & a leafy floral pattern tissue paper in green tones underneath the wire leaf. This sits on brown wrapping paper textured with white gouache & acrylic paint which is mounted on white water coloured paper. Some of the paper’s edges have been torn to emphasize the paper texture. I’ve kept the background to white & natural green tones but the wire gives a glitzy glamour feel. My artwork will fit perfectly into any home, in more neutral décors but also in more colourful décors. My photographs have been taken to give you an idea of how versatile it can be. It can be hung on the wall or can sit on a shelf. I’ve also made a coordinating ‘Four Wire Leaves’ artwork. Buy as a pair or individually. The artwork is 10cm width by 15cm height. You can buy this framed in the white frame shown in the photos or the artwork is ready to be framed to fit into a 6 inch (15cm) by 6 inch (15cm) frame without a mount. Frame not included.
