Hello and welcome to my little Folksy shop!
I’m based in West Yorkshire and make my artwork in my spare time. I love to create handmade mixed media art combining wire, paint, pencil, wording, interesting papers; textured, patterned or handmade. I often hand stitch onto the pieces as well. Wire is so versatile and has such malleability. It adds dimension and structure. Cups of tea & coffee, cats, flowers, nature, geometric shapes and architecture are my favourite inspirations. Oh and love of course! The pieces are all my own designs and are created by me. From traditional cottage to modern contemporary in style and so will suit any style of home.
Please message me if you can't quite find what you're looking for, or if you'd like something in a different colour or size, I'm more than happy to take requests.
The artwork will be gift wrapped and can be posted directly to a recipient, just let me know. I'll add a handwritten note as well.
I try to recycle whenever I can, so the outside packaging may not always look perfect!
You can find me on Instagram as well: https://www.instagram.com/judymclucasmixedmediaartist/
Thank you XXX
I love creating with wire, paint, paper, threads so I put them all together and created my Wire Collection!!!
Just to add to the description, currently I don’t provide frames but I’m looking into this. This keeps the price of the artwork down, plus the price of the postage but also because people have different tastes & interior styles. The frames in the product photos are used for display purposes only. When you’re putting the artwork into a frame, as it’s not completely flat, please be gentle, it will fit but handle with care. Please note due to the nature of the material the ends of the wire can sometimes be sharp so please keep away from animals & small children.
If you have any questions please get in touch. Thank you for visiting my little Folksy shop. I do hope you like what you see XXX

Full description
My Wire Blue & White Pot of Tea is an original handmade mixed media artwork. The pot of tea is sculptured from silver coloured wire, with gold & copper coloured wire wrapped around for extra decoration & shine. I’ve used silver thread to hand stitch on the pot of tea as well. For the wording just behind the teapot, I’ve typed the word 'pot of tea', repeating it by using all the different computer fonts beginning with P, just to add a different visual dimension. I’ve also used different patterned papers in blues & white. The pot of tea is mounted on my signature brown wrapping paper textured with white gouache & acrylic paint, more wording paper & white watercolour paper. Some of the paper’s edges have been torn to emphasize the paper texture. This art piece has a traditional, with a bit of glitzy glamour feel. It can fit perfectly into any home. It can be hung on the wall or can sit on a shelf. I’ve also made a Cup of Tea artwork to match.
The artwork is 15cm width by 15cm height. The artwork is ready to be framed to fit into a 6 inch (15cm) by 6 inch (15cm) frame without a mount. Frame not included.
