Amethyst, or purple quartz, is the birthstone for Aquarius and February, and the stone for the 6th wedding anniversary.
Amethyst is also associated with St Valentine.
It was believed he wore an amethyst ring engraved with a cupid to enable young soldiers to recognise him.
Emperor Claudius 11, believing married men made bad soldiers, had forbidden soldiers to wed, but Valentine would conduct secret marriage ceremonies.
Rose quartz is referred to as the 'love stone' as it is thought to enhance and balance emotions, making this combination of sage amethyst and rose quartz an extremely romantic gift.

Pretty necklace of 6mm and 4mm Sage Amethyst and Rose Quartz beads accented with extra sparkly 5mm Swarovski clear crystal AB bicones and nickel and lead free, stardust effect, glittery sliver 4mm spacer beads.
Amethyst is the name for purple quartz.
Sage amethyst is a type of amethyst, sometimes called "banded", "chevron" or "dog tooth" amethyst, that is purple quartz mixed with swirls of white quartz giving beautiful cloudy patterns that have also led to the name "dream amethyst".
I think they are much more interesting than plain amethyst, and combined with rose quartz, which is known as the 'love stone', make for a very romantic gift.
The fastening is sterling silver.
This necklace measures approximately 17 inches (43cm).
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
