Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. Full description
27cm by 29.5cm in size, "Shapes of Bliss" is a chalk pastel and pencil drawing which was inspired by a trip to the majestic Redwood forests of Northern California (Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park). I aimed to convey the beautiful atmospheric light, lush foliage and the sheer height of the trees. The forest dwelling creatures emerged from my imagination!
I enjoy drawing on toned paper as you can lift out the light with whites and light colours.
This is one of 12 illustrations I originally created for a 2023 tree themed wall calendar.
I am offering FREE shipping around the world for this special piece (including tracking and signature required, wherever possible)!
There is sufficient space around the image for mounting and framing. I can sign this on the front or back, whichever you prefer, and if it is a gift I can add a message.
