Amethyst (purple quartz) is the birthstone for Aquarius and February, and the stone for the 6th wedding anniversary.
Amethyst is also associated with St Valentine.
It was believed he wore an amethyst ring engraved with a cupid to enable young soldiers to recognise him.
Emperor Claudius 11, believing married men made bad soldiers, had forbidden soldiers to wed, but Valentine would conduct secret marriage ceremonies.
Rose Quartz is referred to as the 'love stone' as it is thought to enhance and balance emotions, making this combination of sage Amethyst and Rose Quartz an extremely romantic gift.

Full description
Dainty, sparkly and lightweight earrings that feature a 4mm rose quartz bead set between 6mm and 4mm Amethyst beads, and embellished with a 4mm brass stardust effect silver finish bead and a 3mm super-sparkly Swarovski crystal ABx2 bicone.
Threaded onto a sterling silver pin and hung from sterling silver ear-wires, stamped '925'.
These earrings measure approximately 1 inch (2.5cm).
Your earrings will be wrapped on tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within the UK.
